Day 30 – Best day yet!

We started the day thumbing our nose at the 11:00 checkout time and having pancakes and bacon. Best part we had a ton of bacon. We finally left St. Ignace at 12:30. Today is our Daughter Anne Marie’s birthday. As a treat we are staying at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Quite elegant. To walk around after 6:30 there is a dress code. Jackets, ties, nice shoes. We brought all that along. here are some pictures of the hotel. Also I am going to include some [

Day 27 – Passing Les Chenaux Islands

Making good time. Lake Huron is pretty calm at the moment. Closed up the Bimini top to get everyone some sun (warmer). Glad we are not going into the Les Chenaux Islands.As you can see it is definitely obvious where the entrance is.
