6/24/23 – Leaving Sheboygan for Manitowoc

What happened to the sun and the drought? We are leaving Sheboygan to Manitowoc, 8:55, winds 15-20 knots, waves 2-4, luraining. So nasty!

Manitowoc is bearing 006 degrees, and our ETA is 1:52. Motoring no sails and guess what no other boats out here. Yesterday we saw fishing nets that we came very close to, so we need to keep an eye out for that as we get further North.

Peen honin is performing well.

Tomorrow looks like we may have to layover in Manitowoc for an extra day. Best laid plans.

Sun is trying to poke out, fingers crossed.

Are we having fun yet?

Well it was nice, went to the maritime museum and toured a sub. The facilities were awesome. The docks need work on the wood pilings

It’s really bad Bob and we can feel it in our lungs.

Days like that make for better stories. You should change motoring to Full Sails with the mast dipping into the water!
