7/8/24 Northport to Traverse City (Duncan Clinch)
We are underway and once again the wind is on our nose. So we are just on the motor. Change of plans. We are going all the way into Traverse City because a slip came open and that is where are planning to stay for most of July. Pretty uneventful. We just missed Cherry festival which ended on July 6th. Which is probably why there is a slip available.
It is very pretty as we move down Grand Traverse Bay to the “Cherry Capital of the United States”. We shall see if the Cherries are better the Washington State. So far not so much.
