Day 14 – Heading to Menominee
Today we leave for Menominee, looks like we finally have some sailing winds. Maybe some strong winds. 12 – 24 out of the WNW. Along with winds will come some short duration chop with I’m sure whitecaps. Temperature looks a little chilly as well. So some good sailing weather (Maybe).
After passing through a passage and having to keep a keen eye on marker buoy 6 Strawberry Channel we have been able to get a course of 267 degrees for Menominee Wisconsin. Wind has started to ease. Our ETA is 1:46.
For those of you who are into monitoring NOAA buoys, I am including a picture of Chambers Island CBRW3, which gives wind speed and direction for a point in the Northern part of Green Bay. Let me re-phrase, for you weather geeks out there.
Also I resolved two problems with the website. The site was not refreshing when people re-visited it. That should be fixed now. Also I got the site listed in the Bing search engine.

July 10, 2023This map is backwards. Shouldn’t the land be on the right and the water on the left? Am I reading this wrong Captain?
