Day 15 – Staying over in Menominee
We are going be staying for an extra day before heading to Cedar River Michigan and then crossing Green Bay to Washington Island and “Porte de Morte” (look it up).
Menominee is a really nice harbor. Lots of sailboats. The shower / boater facilities are really new and super nice. They have a TV in your own personal bathroom. Whoa!

For those that missed my post on Menominee industry. One of the largest employers is Fincantieri Marinette Marine and makes small Frigates for the navy an Coast Guard Cutters. Pretty cool.

July 8, 2023Just caught up with your trip. Looks like you guys are having fun! I’ve crossed that boarder a few times in the winter by car and often wondered what those harbors are like in the summer. Safe and happy sailing. We’re holding the dock for you! John and Cathy. (and Pokey).
