Day 31 – Melancholy day on Peen Honin
We are departing Mackinaw City for Petoskey. Anne Marie and Seamus are heading back to Seattle and Tucson. That is always hard. We had a great week with the two of the on board.
Today we are going back the way we came to Petoskey. I would have to say that Straits Harbor in Mackinaw City was one of my favorites. Lots of slips available, friendly dock hands. A real nice place. Below is a sunrise and a map of our course around the abandoned light house off of Waugoshance Island.

we might be dodging Race to Mackinac sailboats, though I hear the winds are light.
