Day 43 – Manistee to Ludington

I’m posting these a little out of order. Oh well. We got up early on Friday. Michael was taking a Cape Air flight from Manistee Airport to Ohare. It was a 9 passenger turbo prop. So we left Manistee around 8:00 o’clock. As we were leaving a fisherman who had already been out there said “it’s pretty wavy”. Such is life. That was ok because the waves were behind us giving us a push. This is known as a Nantucket Sleigh Ride (listen to the song of the same name by the rock group Mountain now).

Got to Ludington very quickly, 4 hours, motor sailing with just the main. At Ludington we caught up on stuff like Laundry, showers and relaxation. Saw a ukulele band. Such a nice town and harbor.
