Day 46 – Grand Haven to Saugatuck
After getting rudely awakened by the surge in the Grand River, we got going relatively early only to be met by a low level fog. Maybe 30 feet above the water. See pictures below. Also wind out of the north west (bad). It was supposed to be out of the west. I want my money back (:-).
Well I seemed to gave found a semi comfortable direction with the main up and the motor going. Making 5.5 to 6 knots. The lake is in a confused state (waves from multiple directions) from yesterdays wind storm. So having to travel off the thumb line a bit. ETA 1:00.
