Jeanne and Steve’s Sailing Adventure all done.

On June 23rd three of us (Jeanne, Alan and me) left Waukegan for a 52 day adventure for Jeanne and me. We saw a lot of things, met a lot of people, saw a lot of boats, especially Catalina sail boats.

We went up the Wisconsin coast into Green Bay across the lake to Michigan, up the coast of Michigan, through the straits of Mackinac, into Lake Huron, stayed in place for water spouts, listened to a boat fire, had our kids join us, stayed at the Grand Hotel, went into Traverse Bay, flew to Chicago, played in the 51st Touhy Invitational Golf Tournament had an iPhone dropped in the water, sailed, motored and motor-sailed, had winds behind us, winds in front of us, winds on the side of us. Sprinted down the Michigan coast, stayed in 34 Ports of Call (Marinas). Crossed over to Chicago, Avoided some storms, got hit by some storms and saw a lot of sun.

Met up with a lot of friends and family Anne Marie, Seamus, Alan, Dion, Jamie, Danny, Eileen, Cindy, Patty, Eileen, Michael, Suzy, Mary, Rick, Barb, Cathy, Rafael, Susana, Myles, Mary Beth and Bill.
