Day 48 South Haven to St. Joe.

Well we found out. If the wind is out of the west “if the boat is rockin, don’t bother knocking”. About 5:00 woke up and the boat was definitely rocking. Jeanne was uncomfortable just laying in bed. Oh well.

So we just got under way. The harbor mouth was really way and I really had to pay attention. As we got to the mouth of the harbor a really large Cabin Cruiser (see Hat Trick in Sister Bay) attempted to come in and share the space. I was schvitzing, Alas at the last most they fell off and went around. I hailed them on the radio and thanked them. (:-)

The good news is with the wind out of the west, we are sailing! Yahoo. Boat speed 4 knots, apparent wind speed is 13 knots. We may be able to sail all the way to St. Joe.
