Day 48 – Did I say South Haven to St. Joe. Meant South Haven to New Buffalo 🦬
So the winds on Friday didn’t look good for going from St. Joe to New Buffalo, so pushed on past St Joe and went on to New Buffalo.
This meant instead of a 5 hour day it was a 9 hour day. On top of it the wind died and there were gentle rollers that rocked the boat back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. So uncomfortable and so long.
in the meantime we went in close by St. Joe and you can see the lighthouse. We also got a good look at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant, a work tug, Warren Dunes, the Cook NDBC weather buoy.
So we made it to Nee Buffalo 🦬 where we are going to hang out with family and friends, Cathy, Rafael, Susana, Myles, Mary, Suzy, Rick and Barb.
