Day 49/50 – Hanging with family and friends
We are in New Buffalo for 3 days. It will be nice to not go anywhere. We have met up with Cathy and Mary, who took the train, Rafael, Susana and Myles, who drove and Suzy, Rick and Barb who drove as well.
Cathy has a friend with a house in New Buffalo, where they are staying. We had a wonderful dinner there.
This morning (day 50) we woke to a beautiful morning. Then we heard non-stop thunder and boom, we’re going to need a bigger boat. It should clear and we are going to the beach. Too wavy, windy and stormy to go out on the boat.
Jeanne really loves storms in the boat, so she is really enjoying it. I’m enjoying listening to Saturday Morning Flashback – 1969.

August 13, 2023That is a great pic! I am glad that the weather cleared and you were able to enjoy the beautiful beach. I can’t believe that your adventure is coming to it’s end, it seems like you just got underway! Whose adventures can I live vicariously through now?!
